Classic Double
The Classic Double type rooms are romantic and comfortable rooms for couples, in an area which in former times housed the “birthing stable”, where cows about to give birth were transferred. The accommodation is reached via a short flight of steps, and is arranged on one floor, overlooking the garden.
The Classic Doubles have king-size bed 180×200 cm, and a few select decorative items which give them a minimal, elegant style, supporting Susafa's sustainability theme. The wide glazed French doors have a view of a swathe of countryside, whose colours and atmosphere change as the seasons progress. These rooms are a perfect haven for a romantic weekend, surrounded by the natural world of Sicily.

Sweet dreams in the Classic Double
The Classic Double rooms have goose feather pillows and comfortable sprung mattresses. Sicilian chestnut beamed ceiling. The flooring is in handmade, wood stove-baked, Sicilian terracotta tiles.
An air diffuser perfumes the room with delicate Sicilian citrus scents.
The private bathroom, with spacious, walk-in shower, has a hairdryer and 550g cotton towels. We decided that, given our environmental sustainability policy, we would avoid single-use detergents. The shower/shampoo and hand soap, to Sicilian fragrances, are locally produced and distributed, supplied from dispensers refiled every day.
Similarly we have not provided room minibars (available only on request). Susafa aims to reduce energy consumption and minimise waste from single-use products, by means of practical steps in line with its policy of care for the environment.
