Superior Suite

Susafa’s elegant Superior Suite is situated on the first floor of the main building, in the space previously occupied by the accommodation for the field guard of the old farm. Consisting of two rooms separated by a panoramic glass wall, the Superior Suite is a spacious, bright space, about 70 m2, arranged as a living room with a sofa, and a sleeping area with a 200×200cm king-size bed. The open-plan private bathroom has a white ceramic bathtub, in a streamlined modern design, contrasting discreetly with the more natural, rough elements of wood, stone and terracotta.

A dialogue between past and present, a mixture of natural and synthetic materials, a meeting of warm colours and cooler tones, perfectly harmonised in Susafa's graceful composition. In the Superior Suite, guests will find the perfect elements for a romantic stay in the Sicilian countryside, complemented by dinner in the restaurant, a dip in the pool, a walk through the kitchen garden or the scented garden, and all the other facilities of Susafa’s boutique hotel.

Susafa’s Superior Suite, like all the other accommodation, invites you into a slow, sustainable and relaxing interlude, a rediscovery of nature and the link to the earth. For this reason, we have chosen not to provide television or minibar in the rooms, and we invite our guests to enjoy experiences with us, leaving the mobile phone on the bedside table.

Eco-sustainable stay in the Superior Suite

Susafa's Superior Suites have goose feather or memory foam pillows (according to the guest's preference) and comfortable sprung mattresses with memory foam layer. There is a Sicilian chestnut beamed ceiling, and a precious parquet floor. In some rooms, especially the bathrooms, the floors are covered with our own sealed limestone finish, with a natural wax coating, in order to reproduce the effect of the old flooring of the manor house. A sweet fragrance of orange and lemon flowers permeates the rooms from the exclusive air diffusers.

The spacious private bathroom with bathtub, has hairdryer, a large wall mirror and 550g cotton towels. The guests will also find a bathroom set with bathrobe and slippers. We decided that, given our environmental sustainability policy, we would avoid single-use detergents. The shower/shampoo and hand soap, to Sicilian fragrances, are locally produced and distributed, supplied from dispensers refiled every day.

Similarly we have not provided room minibars (available only on request). Susafa aims to reduce energy consumption and minimise waste from single-use products, by means of practical steps in line with its policy of care for the environment.
