Junior Suite

Two of the four Junior Suites are laid out on two levels: a living space with sofa bed on the ground floor, and the bedroom on the mezzanine. The other two Junior Suites are on one level, and have a private outdoor space.

This accommodation, modern, comfortable and beautifully designed, is the result of the restoration of former dwellings for the dairy master, the winemaker and the groom at the old Susafa farm. The Junior Suites are reached via steps, enjoying a splendid view of the garden.

The Junior Suites have king size beds, 180×200cm, original furnishings in 19th century Sicilian style, or made specially for Susafa by local craftworkers. No detail is left to chance: every corner, every object or item of furniture tells a story, perfectly matching the style of our charming boutique hotel in the Palermo countryside.

Romantic atmosphere in the Junior Suite

The Junior Suites have goose feather or memory foam pillows (according to the guest's preference) and comfortable sprung mattresses with memory foam layer. Sicilian chestnut beamed ceiling, the wood partly recovered from the restoration of the original farmhouse roof. The flooring is in handmade, wood stove-baked, Sicilian terracotta tiles. A diffuser spreads a delicate fragrance of Sicilian citrus through the rooms.

The private bathroom, with spacious, walk-in shower, has a hairdryer and 550g cotton towels. The guests will also find a bathroom set with bathrobe and slippers. We decided that, given our environmental sustainability policy, we would avoid single-use detergents. The shower/shampoo and hand soap,to Sicilian fragrances, are locally produced and distributed, supplied from dispensers refiled every day.

Similarly we have not provided room minibars (available only on request). Susafa aims to reduce energy consumption and minimise waste from single-use products, by means of practical steps in line with its policy of care for the environment.
